The Parish Council represents residents of the village, provides a forum for them to articulate their views on a variety of issues and liaises with Wiltshire Council and other organisations over a range of statutory responsibilities. It provides advice on planning and development issues, monitors village footpaths and recreational areas and seeks to promote the best interests of the community.
Unless otherwise stated, all Parish Council meetings are open to the general public. You are welcome to come and watch the meeting, and there is opportunity for you to ask questions and/or contribute your opinions, if you wish, when we reach the ' Public Forum ' section of the agenda

Keith Amiss
Keith has previously been a Parish Councillor for over four years, during which time he served on the Board of Governors for Burbage Primary School.
Married with 2 children attending St. John’s School in Marlborough, Keith is independent of any political view and will strongly endeavour to obtain the best for our village, to continue to keep it a better environment to live in.

Bernadette Willis
Bernadette has lived with her husband Stuart Wheeler in Ram Alley since 1994. She wants to make sure that the Parish Council looks after the interests of all the people of Burbage, spends it’s money wisely and properly reflects the views of everybody.
Bernadette was born in Australia but came to England in 1986 after meeting and marrying Stuart in Sydney. Her first degree was in economics and she worked as an accountant for a time before finishing her law degree and qualifying as a solicitor. She is currently retired with her last post as a senior lawyer/compliance officer with BP.
She is an enthusiastic gardener and also takes some responsibility for the training of the family cocker spaniel Watson.
